I'm dumbfounded, this is the concept which you have built your entire reputation on over the past 2.5 years.

As for Sousa, why are the Sousa lovers not hyping up De canio who had a better record and doing better than anyone from our former managers in Italy?

Just wondered like?

Agenda??
In your eyes without foundation. To other sources, inc some close to the player, it may have some grains of truth in it. Two sides to every story and all that....

As for LDC - took over from a failing manager who was sacked, managing a team expected to gain promotion. Lecce are traditionally too good for Serie B and not good enough for Serie A. LDC will only be judged a success in Italy if he gets Lecce to a top 10 spot in Serie A. The owners there have backed their manager, expected promotion (as did the bookies) and LDC is delivering. Fair play.

Sousa took over from an immensely popular and successful manager, who took their best 2 players and is exceeding expectation by some distance on a shoestring budget. Doesn't concede many goals either. Fair play to him too.

What about answering the question?

De Canio Top with Leece better record than Sousa

Swansea 5th in the championship, lowest goals scored in all leagues yet Sousa is the second coming?

Why are you not equal in praise for both managers?

As for Dowie, he would be back like a shot tomorrow, trouble was Flavio not GP.

Could you find me any comment on from any manager regards GP? I'm all ears, just supply it.

Again, don't confuse it for a defence as I have already said come the summer its time for him to go, but lets deal in facts as opposed to making things up.

Apologies Nodge

You have the decency to compliment both managers, just waiting for w12ranger and QPR south to so

As much as I like Di Canio he has essentially a Serie A side in Serie B and he is doing brilliantly. Sousa however given the budget he has, losing his main striker and best midfielder and replacing an immensly popular manager, is now exceeding that previous manager. What he is doing as he was last season with us is getting by with a pretty poor hand dealt to him. I had no qualms at all over the Dowie sacking but the Sousa one blew any reputation we had in the game, any chance of getting a decent manager, and ultimately set us on this path of self destruction

C'mon Pete - you know we're never gonna hear that - confidentiality clauses abound in severance packages.

I'm not making things up. Honest! Just passing on information that has made it's way to me in the same manner as many other people across the QPR message board family. I've had bits and pieces that corroborate that I'll also post for comment as you do...some of it, as I highlight, is rumour and conjecture and if so, I'll say it is (as above) .

As for LDC and Sousa in their current roles, I'd say LDC is meeting expectation and Sousa is exceeded. B+ LDC, A- Sousa.

edit.......whoops......just seen your note......

I have answered your question on the above thread.

I don't avoid your questions, but maybe if you responded to right thread in the first place it would help instead of ignoring my post on page 2 of the above link.

I don't follow Italian football, I concentrate on the league we are playing in hence the reason I know virtually nothing about our Italian equavilant. I told you previously you are clutching at straws I am now repeating myself to you because clearly you weren't listening in the first place. I wish LDC all the best I hope he gets his team promoted, he was a very likeable guy. We played some good stuff under him but he was never the manage take us forward.

LDC was not laying the sort of foundations Sousa was at this club in lamen terms we were building from the back with Sousa, we conceded too many late goals and whilst we hit some good form under him it was clear to me he was a short term fix and I will always give him credit for what he achieved.

I will tell you where I stand, I will judge either manager on what they achieved/achieving in the CCC, the Italian Second Tier is completely irrelevant to this debate.

The coach, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said: "Paladini has a big say in the day-to-day running as Briatore is always in and out of the country. The owners there do love football but possibly they can get too involved, and don't leave it to the manager and the staff. But what's happening there now with all the managers is making QPR laughable."

w12ranger

Sorry??

Sousa was at this club in lamen terms we were building from the back with Sousa

He came in after a good start from Dowie, Dowie had us 1-2 points off Plays offs

then a couple of wins under Ainsworth.

WHAT WAS HE BUILDING?

Surely it was

"push on, we are in sight of the play offs try and get us there"

not

"look we are 1 point off play offs, start building from the back and focus on stablising the club this season and get us into play offs NEXT season?

Please don't tell me you believe it was the second option?

and PS Play Alberti in the centre?/

I have already told you once already, I think Paulo Sousa knows a little bit more about formation and tactics than you. Its unreasonable just to expect a Coach to pick up the reins and 'push on' and this is exactly the sort of mentality which has put us where we ae today. It takes time for a Coach to impose their own authority and footballing ethos on a squad of players, infact it didn't take Super Paulo that long to settle at all. He had key players missing at an important part of the season, our DoF was working his magic in the transfer market bringing in a crocked striker whom he didn't want and he was new to the game in a senior coaching role and to football in this country as a whole.

Your a blinkered man who probably saw Super Paulo's patient approach to stabilising the club and laying solid foundations as stifiling your own 'media career'. Think about it, you could have been on the gravy train with Paladini in the Prem, getting to see those big big PL grounds, getting caught on Sky Sports banging your drum, interviewing PL footballers on the radio, Preminum TV subsrciptions would have doubled over night......

You see I think this runs deeper, many criticised Super Paulo at the time but have since retracted their comments which is acceptable especially as we all would like to have the benefit of hindsight.....all except you, you have no remorse for your actions. You run a website which whether you like to admit it or not was directly responsible for the sacking of Paulo Sousa via a smear campaign instigated by Gianni Paladini and implemented by you.

Unlike you I accepted early on our fate last season, I didn't see it as an issue I took a lot of comfort in our defensive displays and knew we were 1-2 signings away from making a proper challenge the following season. I favour stability, build over a couple of seasons like Burnley and then go for it.

I personally think your a very selfish man and I think the truth will come out at some point with what really happened with Sousa. I have a hunch that Sousa had Paladini sussed and Paladini didn't like it as his meal ticket was in jeopardy due to Super Paulo's presence the longer time went on. I mean look at the stature of the man as if he was going to take advice from someone with limited football knowledge who was a known liar with a seedy corrupt background. With Paladini out the way your own 'media career' would be under threat too, I doubt this impressed you either. On many occassion you have played on 'this is just a rumour website thats why we left up that thread' or 'Sousa's sacking was nothing to do with WATRB'.....******.

What angers me more than anything else is the reasoning behind Sousa's sacking. The man was sacked for divulging sensitive confidential information about the club when Gianni Paladini has been divulging sensitive confidential information to yourself and others alike on a daily/weekly basis since the takeover. Now you tell me that isn't the case, come on then put that in print for all see.

Paulo Sousa's sacking was never about the football with you and I don't know why posters including myself get into a footballing debate with you on the subject because its far more sinister than that.

Paladini/Sousa dynamic. Spot on.

The problem is that the club leaks like a sieve. Paladini may or may not feed titbits to this site, I have no idea. But what I do know is that there are other sources of information either directly or indirectly at the club that blast Paladini's primary attempts at control and spin from here to Sunday.
