Oompah I don't get it, why would you ever applaud a goal against your own? We were robbed of our greatest victory of the modern era and you were one of the ones who cheered. All that love in lark with a bunch of mancs was horrible to watch.

Theres a few reasons tbh G.
I DESPISE MAN UTD
I DESPISE MAN UTD 'FANS'
I DESPISE ASHLEY YOUNG
I LOVE MAN CITY FANS, NOT MANY FANS DESERVE SUCCESS AS MUCH AS THEM
I SAID BEFORE GAME MY IDEAL WOULD BE CITY CHAMPIONS AND US SAFE
EMOTION GOT THE BETTER OF ME
I HAVE NO ILL FEELING WHATSOEVER TOWARDS CITY PLAYERS OR FANS
I THINK IT WAS NICE TO SEE ALL FANS OF BOTH TEAMS CELEBRATING TOGETHER, THOUGHT IT WAS QUALITY AND I WAS PROUD TO BE THERE
Over the moon city won.
The thought of that diving git Ashley Young winning anything is too much.
I think if you were there you would have joined in too, were a lot of emotions flying around.
Correct . . . . I was sitting right next to them, and joining in the big love in, hugs and kisses across the netting

For us that would mean around 29k."

Too be honest I think we all got caught up in a mad 3 minutes, we knew we were up, and none of us wanted United to win the title SO we were cheering them winning the league NOT them scoringOriginally posted by BUSHRANGER1982 View PostI was there, and I did not celebrate Citeh's winning goal.
Would never celebrate an opponent scoring a match winning goal against us, never.
Our fans, some of them, baffle me at times.

I could see the sense in that.
However, I probably would not have believed Bolton had drawn after last season believing Norwich had drawn when in fact, Lansbury had scored a late, late winner that delayed QPR's promotion.
But yes, totally understand the reason for not wanting United to win and City to do so instead. I have been routing for them all season (QPR had no chance). The City fans are amongst the most loyal ever - 30000 in the 3rd division a few years ago can you imagine United's turning out like that?
As for anyone who thinks they bought the title, well so what? That's what all clubs have been doing since the late 70s (if not earlier).
As a jounalist in the Standard said yesterday, "football titles are like sex, we all end up paying for it one way or another".

I'm glad we stayed up, and we avoided a kicking after the game. And I was happy for their fans that they won the title.Originally posted by G block View PostQPRdel. I was there and certainly not happy that city won, don't care which bunch of northerners is celebrating, but never want to see opposition fans happy because they've just beaten qpr. That could have been our greatest performance in many a moon and we blew it, then some of our fans applauded. Wrong.
Sure, I was a bit pissed off at conceding 2 goals in the last 3 minutes, but we survived and that's what mattered.

Same as myself, think my whole world fell apart at that moment, i was in a pub where everyone bar me was cheering and no one could tell me if we were safe or not, personally after Tevez doing his best to get Barton sent off i wanted to smash em to pieces.... and when we went 2-1 up and they showed some lad balling his eyes out, all i could think was....yes lets do em even more, money may buy them success, but it hasn't bought their fans any stones....Originally posted by hhrangers View PostI thought 'Sh*t' when they scored. The reason i wasn't bothered City got the winner was, it meant the qpr fans could leave in safety, dont know the year but was at city when we drew 2-2 and put them down, not a nice place, would loved to have won/drew but not if it at the expense of any qpr fan getting hurt. we are staying up and thats all that matters.

Jesus how old are you?
We've never quite been that **** (yet) but we managed an average of 48,000 when we got relegated to the then division 2 in 75.
City never got 30,000 in division 3 either it's another over used media cliche and if you had any knowledge whatsoever of Manchester as a city you'd know it was massively red.
I couldn't give two ****s who does or doesn't like us, in fact I can barely think of anything worse than being someone else's second team and all that cringey ******** but......
That video is the single most embarrassing thing I've ever seen by any set of football fans, seriously.
Now I admit that if Liverpool were going for the league and we needed to lose to let the other team pip them then I might want them to score, in fact **** it, who am I kidding I would want them to score against us and beat us if neccessary but never ever if I live to be one million years old would I cheer and celebrate a goal against my team, I don't care how much you hate us, it's irrelevant, it's just totally embarrassing for you.
People like you lot like to try and say that we're 'gloryhunters' etc but lets have it right, that end of your is packed with post euro 96 whoppers, soccer am generation fans if I've ever seen them.
You barely managed 200 to Old Trafford before it became a walk in the park in the modern age.
I can't believe that your older lads wherever they may be don't find this as cringey as I do, don't get me wrong I don't want them or you to like us, despise away but sort your ****ing heads out.

So glad City won the title - shame we had to let them beat us for them to do so. As you say the thought of Ashley Young winning anything turns the stomach. Apart from Rooney - Man Utd are becoming a rather dull bunch.
Did the players have any idea that the Bolton-Stoke had finished and were distracted by that? T. Fernandes thought as much but have the players said anything?

Guys, I made a video clip including that jump for joy (Eddie Nedviecki in particular) for R`s staying up, Aguero`s goal about 15 sec later, our celebration of their winning goal, and the exchanged applauses between man city and us...the only problem is that the clip is 220MB...I will upload it on hotfile and give you a link below:
