Because he's not great at football so apparently that makes him the worst person on planet Earth. Except perhaps Ollie. Or Tony.

          Bit of a dramatic post.

          I certainly don't hate him.

          Love his passion

          Love his work rate

          Love his effort

          Love his determination

Hate his football style & ability.

          Simple as that really.

                This

Nobody 'hates' Mackie as a person Kevin. People 'hate' the fact he gets picked every week and vent their frustration at such. Think you're conflating the two things.

                    Really ?
Why not stick to criticising the man who picks him then and refrain from the pathetic nicknames.

Agree again. They are pathetic and childish. Never use them personally.

All of the above except hate his football style and ability.

I find hard to believe that some of us are so disrespectful to a man who has always given 110 % for the club and was an important part of our championship
                          winning side under Warnock.

Shame on you all who are putting this guy down.

tbh i find the nicknames and hitmans hashtags hilarious, crappie and gump lol.

i love mackies passion and love for the team and i think everyone does its just what he brings to the team week in week out that irks the hell out of me, it literally is like playing with 10 men. bring him on as a sub for the last 15 mins when everyones tired or start him every couple of games and we'll get the best out of him. thing is, he wasn't even that good when we won the championship but he was effective and played his part well, 6-7 years on hes not gotten any better and has understandably gotten worse.

I know you don’t, because like most sensible people you acknowledge he doesn’t write his name on the team sheet.

Maybe ridicule would be a more appropriate word than hate.

He scored 9 goals in 25 appearances ffs.
He was a huge player for us in that season.
