means nothing the only reason he will have been moved in is because people have listened to Scott and gone and put money on him!

Why on earth would we want back a manager whose record when he had his best players available was only marginally better than Sousa's - just don't get it.

i was well chuffed about that
                    Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                    And many more mistakes

Of all the names that have been thrown into the hat so far, it's the appointment of LDC as manager/coach of Queen's Park Rangers that would have me sinking a few pints by way of celebration.
We have a better set of defenders this time around, we have added quality in midfield in Routledge and Lopez, and with a fit Buz, a fit Vine, a fit Rowlands, a fit Aygemang, Gigi inherits a better squad of players than the one he left.

Also, two much maligned players, Gavin Mahon and Peter Ramage, I'd suggest we keep next season. Pete's attitude in particular is superb, and his last 4/5 performances have been top notch in my opinion.

Agree with that ...everyone seems to be going a bit overboard on LDC from what I remember we played well at home to Bristol City and Stoke ...can't think of many more?

....everyone seems to forget the last minute goals against? Burnley at home? shocking away form? ...how many away games did LDC win?

I hope you're wrong for a change Insideman would be a massive step backwards IMO to go with Di Canio again! Lots of people with rose tinted spec on I think!
The guy can't speak english properly! Inherited a newly signed team who's performances seemed great to us as we had no expectations and were glad just not to be relegated! History shows we didn't actually do that great, we finished 14th and as soon as Buz etc got injured results were poor not to mention the lack of defence and fitness!

There is a very good reason why Briatore would want him back and it's the same reason Shearer is at Newcastle. By appointing the fan favourite the chairman escapes any blame if it does go wrong and ends up being the wrong appointment after all the fans all wanted him so they can't blame the chairman for hiring him or alternatively it goes well and he looks like a genius, Briatore and Paladini etc can't lose either way!

Also as has been said by Dave Mc a british manager such as Wise would severly undermine Paladinis position as DoF which I'm sure Paladini wouldn't be keen on!

Di Canio will make a LOT of sense to the board but that doesn't mean he is the right guy for the job!
