  • Good decision

the sacking of sousa was a good decision by the board. An inexperienced manager is not what we need at this time, they mucked up in the first place sacking dowie and appointing sousa.

    26 games- won 7, drew 12, lost 7.

33points from a possible 78 is pretty poor.

Not good enough with the squad and ambition we have.

Lets get in an experienced manager and give them full control.

LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT SEASON NOW ;D

That's the key but will that ever happen under the current regime?

"the squad we have" are clearly not good enough and "squad we have" doesn't contain the goal scorers that PS wanted to buy.

Firstly 25/11/09 to 04/04/09 Sousa managed us for 23 league matches not 26. We accumulated 32 from 69 points - Only 2 fewer than Preston, Bristol City & Wolves in the same period.

Secondly, how can you congratulate the board who have just fired Sousa when they have already fired the exact manager you are now asking for which was Iain Dowie.

Take a quick glance at the table - it doesn't lie.

do wolves have a good front line. YES

                        Do we. NO

                        simple really

this season was over in january when they failed to sign a striker. thats not PS fault thats GP and FB's fault. ive said on a previous thread that no manager in the world can take us up without any decent strikers. the situation we are in now will happen season after season if the board don't give a manager full control. i really hope PS goes on to another club and becomes succsessful

Charlton are a prime example of a club who kept changing their managers and look where they are now

Could be us if were not careful

all your gonna get is what you deserve.....we are the English version of Hearts FC . ****ing laughing stock.

Sam-QPR is spot on. I'd say it goes back to not signing a striker in the Summer, but it could and should have been addressed in January. PS had no say in it.
