KLR, Atmosphere was poor, but why was it poor?

Agree, we have no leaders and its just a kick in the park at the moment.

as for Cook 100% finished, how old is he?

Since the days of that famous Gerry Francis team has past us by I've seen the likes of John Spencer, Peter Crouch, Rowan Vine, Akos Buszaky and the most naturally talented player I have seen in a QPR shirt is Adel Taarabt. He is pure class and I'd be very surprised to get him on loan next season. Undoubtably he has a lot to learn but to dismiss his final product is simply a load of bull. His running and trickery unlock defences and he is always looking to slip a killer pass through a packed defence. He's corners left a lot to be desired yesterday but the lad can make a pass and the work rate is there as well - at least whilst he is interested at the moment.

I was sitting with my father against Bristol City and turn to him after Taarabt turned about 3 defenders inside out and ask him if I was getting carried away. He responded with no chance and the lads that sit around me all agreed that this player is a bit special. At the start of the season everyone got a bit carried away with Ledesma but we were surfing a wave of optimism with high hopes for the season. Taarabt is different he is built like Ronaldo, is strong, 2 good feet, quick, strong, sublime skills and an eye for goal - what more do want? So he loses the ball sometimes pulling of a few tricks who cares, when was the last time you see a player do what he can do playing for Rangers??????

I disagree with your 'lets wait and see what he achieves' attitude before we decide how good he is as well. Players like Taarabt are not 10 a penny and therefore they need to be nurtured in the way Fegurson took a raw Christiano Ronaldo and turnt him into the best palyer in the world before they amount to nothing. I'm not saying Taarabt is the new Christiano Ronaldo but what I am saying is open your bloody eyes and stop trying to strike a controversial note by dismissing one of the most exciting players to don the blue and white hoops in donkey years!
I actually disagree with you quite strongly on a few things here.
First & Foremost, you say that players like Taarabt are "not ten a penny" I actually disagree with that, I think there are a lot of players like that nowadays with too much showpony sub Cristiano Ronaldo nonsense & not enough end product, Scott Sinclair, Aaron Lennon, Adel Taarabt, Wayne Routledge, Hogan Ephraim, there is more & more players around like that these days, It's just not my style of football, stepovers dont win you football matches, unless there is an end product, it means absolutely nothing, it just looks fancy!
As for Harry, sorry, 'Arry Redknapp saying that he is the most skilful player he has ever seen an that age ? Well if it was Arsene Wenger saying it, then I would sit up & take notice along with the rest of World Football, but its not, its 'Arry redknapp, someone who specialises in his own brand of footballing hubris.
Yes, he is a young boy, but I dont think he is nearly on the same level as Vine or Buzsaky, nowhere near as good as either of those two, Buzsaky is a naturally gifted player, but I dont think I've ever seen him going in for any of the sub Cristiano Ronaldo style nonsense that a lot of the young kids like Taarabt etc etc etc go in for nowadays.
Obviously if we got Taarabt on loan next season, it would be a massive step up for us, he is obviously a different quality player to what we have been able to attract sine the early / mid nineties, but I am dubious about whether a player like that would actually be pivotal in getting us promoted, with Vine & Buzsaky, I dont have any doubts about that at all.

I dont know, but it was embarrassingly bad for a London derby, that much I do know.

The lack of leadership is there for all to see, apart from Damion, I dont see anything there, which was why I made the too many showponys, not enough warhorses comment, Stewart is a warhorse, Palace had players like Derry & Lawrence who are warhorses, you need some of that in this division, we havent got enough of it, too many crybabys.

Cook is finished, you need to be on top of your game fitness wise to play in wide positions, he just hasnt got it, sad to see, but sentimentality has held our club back for far too long, Jamal Campbell-Ryce or Ross wallace would have been much better bets than "Cookie" it was a mistake to bring him back, simple as that.
