We aren't going to get a Hiddink, a Mourinho or a Wenger for a long time so I truly believe that people will never completely agree with who is in charge, which as a result means there will always be frictions and debates between the fans.
Sousa, like Dowie and like De Canio before him will always have his fans and will always have his doubters. We are a Championship club and therefore will always a attract either two types of manager. Firstly, is the "been there, done that, got fired" type of boss and secondly is new in the job boss. We attract managers like Dowie because no top class manager would want to manage us. There will always be fans who want an experienced manager and would be happy with Dowie but at the same time there will be fans who doubt his record. With the recent successes of Ferguson at Peterborough, Martinez at Swansea and Ince while at Macclesfield it is understandable why there are other who like the idea of a manager starting his career with us.
Which leads me to the question: While we are a Championship club and cannot attract the top class managers could we ever appoint a manager that would unite and please the fans?
I know one or two will immediately say De Canio did and in many ways they are right. However De Canio is in the past and as we look to an uncertain future for the current manager I ask you to suggest which managers we could not only attract but would also be backed the majority of the fans.
