  • Baggies preparing for life in Championship?

WBA are after both Simon Cox and Jay Simpson for their championship campaign next season. Bednar hasn't been a success in the Premiership so am guessing he will stay with the Baggies and they also have Miller and Fortune.

And who are we targeting? A dutch/croat striker who is so famous that I've not found anyone matching his description even though I've been looking for an hour.

If West Brom can publically state who they are after and have already started pursuing their targets then why don't we. I understand that WBA will have the TV money from the Premiership but if we don't invest in quality strikers we should be prepared for life in the Championship for a long time to come.

Paper talk who knows who we will end up with.

Dele Adebola was linked today and a couple of new managers.

At the end of the day we have to be patient a long time between now and August.

If we are going to pay £600 for our season ticket it better not be that old cart horse Adebola!
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

I don't think Adebola is the answer but he isn't injury prone like Helguson and does know where the goal is. I would rather him then another year of SDC.

Are there any Croats playing in the Dutch league? I seem to remember seeing one playing in one of the European cups and thinking he was big, skillfull and held the ball up well.

Do you mean Danijel Pranjić who plays for Heerenveen?
