Risks with transfers

people dont want young foreign imports with potential because thye are too much of a risk.

surely signing a player only proven in league 1 is a risk? some players hack it at one level but can't step up a level.

why dont we look to sign someone proven at this level or proven in the premiership who is going on the cheap? but he is a championship player so wont get us anywhere and we dont want premiership rejects either.

WTF can/does the club do? :S
