  • Just did one of those table calculator things... got us finishing 12th on 60 points!

Tried to be as unbiased as possible.... interesting final table if I'm right (which of course I won't be)..

Fulham promoted! Have a go yourself here: http://www.worldfootball.net/table_c...-championship/

(Ignore this table, I've posted my correct one below.)

Not weird at all in fact, I cut'n'pasted the wrong page...

Okay, as you were, Reading survive by the skin of their teeth, Fulham make auto 2 points ahead of Colin's Baadiff, Derby pip SU to 6th by goal difference and we end up on 64!

If QPR get 18 points from their next 9 games that would be an excellent end to the season!

Add the two previous results and 24 points from 11 games is 2.2 points per game. A big ask, those kind of points normally earn the title. Fingers crossed you are right!

13th would make us top of the lower half rather than 12th bottom of the upper half.

Be galling if we did end up just 4 wins from playoffs given the amount of games we've chucked against moderate opponents. Suppose loads of teams could say the same but I'm convinced it's possible to carry momentum (or torpor) from end of one season into the next season so be handy to have a good blast as every fixture and see what happens. Certainly no real need to be cagey that's for sure.

I am sure that 12th can be classed as mid table.
My old man was the star player for HMP Parkhurst during their successful and unbeaten 77/78 season.

More prize money, the higher the final position?

                    Could be useful.

wouldn't surprise me if they won it

Nope. All teams get the same irrespective of where they finish..... Sunderland will get same as Wolves, just a few £million - this aint the Prem!

PS Actually Sunderland will get far far more than Wolves cos of parachute money but the "basic" will be the same.

                          OK, Thanks.

Part explains why we weren't exactly falling over ourselves to pile on the points at the end of last season.

Any club any finishes on less than 50 points deserves to be relegated,as the standard is so unbelievably bad this season 44 points could be enough to stay up.I think our aim now should be to improve on last seasons points tally ,so 3 wins from 9 games which is achievable

So do you reckon we are finally out of the relegation battle now?
