Nope. We need a young and up-coming continental manager, who at the same time has years of Championship experience, and a big scouting network of young, talented, and cheap English players. Someone who can fill the stadium with flashy exciting offensive football and at the same time grind out results because of a disciplined defensive formation.

      Sorry, to answer the question:
No, I don't want him as our manager. He'd probable get us higher up the table than Holloway has, but he'd also be a temporary solution until we find the "right" manager. And the faster our managerial carousel turns, the smaller our fishing pond will be, when we go fishing for the "right" manager.

That made me laugh! But totally agree with your serious point. Bloke at Shrewsbury seems to be doing well, playing some decent stuff to apparently.

Ipswich fans rate him as highly as we do Holloway. A big NO

Who was it on here that rated him really highly and said he was one of the vest managers out there and desperately wanted him here?

Not for me but does fit with the position were are in. Skint and average players to work with.

As Lyme says the Ipswich fans love him like we love Ollie. Although they have had a slightly better season than us they are not a happy bunch.

For me it would be 100% NO
I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

Could actually be a good move. At least we would get the one and only 'Terry Connor'.

Remember Terry Connor at Wolves after McCarthy got sacked. Looked like he was going to cry after every game poor bloke.
