Still only 29 years old, free agent after stint in China.
Better than what we've got? Bolton apparently interested, no idea what sort of wages

Definite under achiever from being promising youngster but will know the game. I'd have him.

Would be nervous signing anyone who is clearly after the money.

China/U.S. leagues maybe developing fast but any professional under 30 would surely want to do their best in Europe before heading for the money. I get careers are short, but this guy had every chance to do well, he has never scored anything like prolifically.

Infact he's on 22 appearances and 5 goals in China, from a quick google. Hardly inspiring. That's truly scraping the barrel. Just because he's played in the premier league doen't make him any good does it?

Would honestly rather we scraped non leagues and lower leagues for bargains, young and old.

Good points. We'd never get him anyway - he'll end up at somewhere like Sunderland or Birmingham.

I doubt we would be able to pay the kind of wages he would be after.

Was already at Sunderland. Loves an injury but if fully fit would be handful of a CF

I think he’s worth the chance
                    Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                    And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

He's gonna sign for Bolton and score against us now isn't he...

Agree with much of the above, always thought he had a touch of the Ameobis about him but he's unattached, thought it worth considering
