Defensive coach here to 1st team coach at Boro...Is that a promotion then? Pulis must think highly of him.

Pulls and Holloway are big mates aren't they? Probably not a coincidence.

Pulis used to work with Gerry Francis, however, he opted for our Fleming! Is that a sign that Gerry may be tempted to take a role at Loftus Road?

Just read that as saw what you put & topman, seems very genuine & nice words to say about the club & how it is in the background.

Spoke to him at the training ground a few weeks ago. Has a very young family, and only sees them once a week on a Sunday after a game. Makes absolute sense if he’s been given the opportunity close to home.

Also was at pains to stress that he wasn’t a specific defence coach. Him Holloway and bircham all coaches all aspects of play. And from what I saw he was correct

Best of luck to him. Purse and sow and ear and silk come to mind

Agree totally that he is a better player but that could also be down to not being injured and actually getting games.
Said it another post a few weeks back Alan, Robinson played centre half throughout his youth career before being switched to left back because he was considered too small to play centre half at the highest level. There was an interesting article on Sky a month or so back where Jack even says he's always preferred playing central defence.

Never rated Fleming but now we will have Bircham or even Holloway coaching the defence.

Just hope the club can get someone decent in for the rest of the season.
