hardly call him a legend but addresses an unacceptable hard left faction acting like fascists. I wait in anticipation as they invade Churchills, my pre-match watering hole, demanding it's closure because the greatest ever Englishman reminds them of our colonist past
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble
Into the arms I love the most

The fact that this is even up for discussion tells you everything that is wrong with the world today. And I'll brace myself for being called a Lefty or a Jihadi sympaphiser (of which I'm neither), and the usual nonsense some people come out with when somebody actually has the audacity to call this horrible man what he is.

First of all Trump is a man that was born into unimaginable wealth, but managed to stretch this to billions largely by sh%tting on small businesses. If you are in any doubt about this, just do a quick google search. There are literally hundreds of videos and reports from small business owners that Trump has bankrupted in the process of changing himself from a very rich man, into a man with more money than any of us can fathom.

Secondly, the guy is a serial sexual predator with a string of alleged offenses behind him, many of which whilst he was already married. He doesn't even try that hard to hide it. I watched an interview the other day where he was bragging about walking around a dressing room where no men were allowed and models were naked, backstage in a beauty pageant he was sponsoring.

Then there is the climate change denial. The guy is proactively undoing decades worth of good work in America and beyond when it comes to reversing climate change, purely because it doesn't suit his economic agenda. So the polar ice caps are melting, sea levels are rising, Africa is running out of water, but it'll all be ok cos the US economy is in good shape? Give me strength!

He has also done all manor of despicable things since coming into office, including reversing a ban on trade of imported trophies from poached animals, and pulling the funding for AIDS/HIV research in America. Reducing tax for all his cronies whilst removing Obamacare, which was introduced to help Americas poorest people.

I could go on and talk about him retweeting propaganda from fascist organisations, supporting the Alt Right, inciting war with North Korea etc. but I won't. I'll just say that I think it's outrageous that any intelligent person with a heart supports anything that this man does. If the man on the street allows people like Trump to shape the future of our planet, we are seriously in really big trouble!

Love Jordan Peterson. A brilliant intellect who tells it like it is. Been following him ever since the gender pronoun debacle in Canada. The James Damore / Google furore was another insane situation. Bret Weinstein is another professor well worth checking out eg his interview on Joe Rogan's podcast.

Jordan Peterson explains it perfectly in the interview Hove posted above Hubs, as well as his previous Joe Rogan interview which he co-guested with Bret Weinstein.

                In response to Tarbies post:

                - He is not the first rich guy to trample over others. It's how successful people operate and I dont hold this against him
                - The key word here is "alleged". It doesn't matter how many people say its true, unless he is convicted in a court of law, then its all hot air. The entire left is out to get him, if they could they'd get him in front of a judge no doubt. He would also not be first President to have extra marital affairs.
                - Spending trillions of dollars with the aim to reduce the earths temperate by 1.5 degrees in 100 years doesn't seem to be very efficient. He pulled out not because he wants us to live in a world of smog but he believes other country's will not hold up their end of the bargain (i.e continuing to pledge more money each decade) and the US will end up propping up everyone else. He has already said he'd like to rejoin if terms can be renegotiated. I also find it interesting that back in the 70's, scientists insisted we were entering an age of "global cooling". Regarding Africa running out of water, every year more and more is given to them, yet poverty, famine and disease levels keep rising. After a while you have to ask yourself, why this is and are we just wasting our time and money if corrupt officials just take most of it for themselves?
                - The ban reversal of poached animal parts was actually decided by the US Fish and Wildlife Service. Trump cancelled the reversal https://edition.cnn.com/2017/11/18/p...ons/index.html
                - HIV funding actually remained the same - https://www.nbcnews.com/feature/nbc-...budget-n734711
                - I will never understand the outcry against tax reduction. He is not stealing from anyone, he is allowing people to keep more of their own money
                - Obamacare affects millions positively and negatively. Not everyone is in the same boat
                - He apologised for the retweet and even though he should've been more careful, I find it ironic how no one cares about the kids getting beat up in the videos
                - Don't confuse the alt right with the far right. The media may have banded them together, but they started off as very different entities
                - Obama also threatened them during his run as President. The way I see it:

Trump: I have a big red button
Later that day: North Korea opens communications with South Korea
Later that month: Joint Winter Olympics team

Many Trump detractors will listen to the media, get angry at things that might or might not have been said or done. A more sensible approach would be to look at things that actually matter and are measureable i.e. the jobs market, stock market, economy and GDP - all looking healthy. Throw in the battle against ISIS, I'd say he's doing pretty well. A politician who is at least attempting to follow through with his campaign promises.

It's amazing how sharply the number of attacks have reduced in the last 6 months, not to get complacent of course. If Trump is in any way responsible for that then I for one am grateful to him for it.

The other side if the coin; a nice guy is voted in to lead your country and suddenly your National Anthem gets changed as the word 'sons' offends women; still trying to remove the word 'God', as apparently there are groups over here offended by the word 'God', tens of thousands of refugees are fast tracked into your country and given shed loads of money, while you have vets dieing on the streets of hypothermia.
Also thanks to the amazing freedom we all enjoy, the winner of one of the Arab countries pop idol, whose songs promote terrorism towards 'infadels', is allowed to go on tour promoting hatred towards non Muslims, and to add insult to injury, said person gets to perform in government buildings.
Trump may be many things, but at least he puts his country first.

I hate the Far Left just as much as I hate Trump mate. Political Correctness is out of control in the UK and it's a big part of why I choose not to live there. But it doesn't mean we all have to go and vote for horrible human beings like Trump!

Has any man here never said things like 'grab her by the pushy' to his mates at one time in their life or another?
Thats all the left have on him, and actually think its a good enough excuse to have him impeached cos its all they have.
Sorry but the loony left really are the loony left...........if a left winger was doing well for the states or here like Trump is doing for the U.S,
i wouldnt want them out, id be so so happy and would applaud them.
The left cant ever be happy, same with brexit here, the defeat has poisoned and infected them so deeply they cant see anything but the end of the world. (Well the U.K.)

Here we go with 'the Left'. I ain't a Lefty by any stretch, but I am a staunch Remainer, and I think Trump (or anyone else who leans as far to the Right as he does) is a very dangerous person to put in a position of political power.

As it happens I think Corbyn is equally as dangerous. Socialism in the form that Corbyn would implement it doesn't work either.

But this is how it's become. Politics are so polarised. In my opinion there is a sensible space bang smack in the middle where everyone can get on with their lives pretty happily, without fear of being persecuted.

Agree Tarbs, PC it totally out of control.
I am not saying I would of voted for Trump, but some of the things he is currently doing had to be done.
Part of Canada I live in is classed as rural, at lot of old school people live up this way and are usually very accommodating; however, our Prime minister is starting to alienate these people and in doing so, pushing them towards the right.
I believe to be a succesful leader of a country; you MUST put your people first.

Kev re: Brexit; it is starting to make Britain look like a joke. I am still a proud Brit, but it pains me to see people make fun of how our political system works/don't work.
