Or do we just play that way? The most maddening thing about our last game was not losing to a team with a man down most of the way, but the lazy, lacksadaisical, sleepy pace to our attack. When we were two goals down, and the back line is slowly playing the ball upfield against a then compacted defense are we we out of our mind? When Freeman takes an extra 20-30 secs to pull up his socks when taking corners as the clock winds down, can he be so clueless that the lack of urgency is just another nail in the coffin? I would bring in the likes of Manning (for Bidwell), drop Furlong to right CB over Onouha (whose slow pace is inexcusbale) and when healthy put Smyth back on the front line with Oteh (Conor again a no-show last game; save Matt Smith as an impact sub). Finally, why do almost no players have a thirst to drive to the goal?
