Remember listening to QPR v WBA on our way to the cup final as a boy on my bike

Regis was playing that day then stood waiting for a ticket at Wembley for 8 hrs to get my ticket

Feels such a long time ago now great times though ..Peter Hucker was blinding that day

It was Big Bobs near post flick that made Fenwick goal for QPR in the 82 final

i think the special quality that hazel had was that he could appear suddenly in the opposition box and either score himself or create a goal for someone else,he scored some super goals and i watched him play at center forward and he actually scored in a 4-1 victory a brilliant header

We were brilliant in those years such exciting times going to loftus as a kid

I used to get goose pimples going up the stairs and entering the ground before the match

Lower loft was a great place to be in those years proper mob in there.

Thinks Wicks replaced Hazell as Roeder was alongside Big Bob in 82.

Yes thought so he played well in that final

Lot of trouble with Spurs fans at half time running battles in the outer circle of the stadium I remember that day
