You say that, but if we do adopt that style and play that way regularly and lose a few, the same lot will be out in force like they are now.

Not sure about that Ginge, the football served up over last few years has been very basic almost depressing. Most fans know our clubs limitations, I / We have seen situations like this over the years and don’t throw our toys out of the pram when we lose. Gi Gi was a good example, we lost a fair few but played with a panache/swagger about us. Ollys record is abysmal this time around but he continues with the same system almost oblivious to the scenario.

Club just needs to decide how they want to play and then build to that. Don't just buy the players to fill the positions, buy the players to fill the style.
"What stats allow you to do is not take things at face value. The idea that I trust my eyes more than the stats, I just don't buy that because I've seen magicians pull rabbits out of hats and I know I just know that rabbit's not in there." - Billy Beane

I don't know Kit, under Jimmy all anyone banged on about was the wish that we would play with some passion and a fire in our bellies. Well more often than not this season we've been shite, but no one can say the players haven't given it a go. Yet the same people who clamoured for a bit of passion are still not happy. Just how I see it.

Just want consistency and a team thats set up right and played to its strengths.... Could almost say a manager who does what his job title indicates.

              POW! 100% correct.

Do not spend what little money you have buying 1000 wingers and then play a system with no wingers. Stoopid.

The win over Cardiff was very entertaining for me! I don't know if it's the hope or like watching a train wreck but I still pay $10 every week to watch this because even when the results don't go our way at least I have seen where it goes wrong and can discuss it with you lot, I understand many of you fork out a lot more cash to attend the matches and maybe have higher expectations!

Yes, I do feel entertained this season at home. Most have been close games. Better than last season for sure.

Exactly. And buying no wingbacks (a rare and highly specialised position) then attempting to play with them every week.

Get a couple of good strikers in and i can honestly see us starting to get goals more freely & our midfield starting to chip in
