With the exception of that unforgettable win at Wembley v Derby a few years ago, a "smell of failure" has permeated Loftus Road for a number of years. Today we have a well-meaning but overrun owner, a colorful yet clueless manager, and a bunch of players that are either poorly coached or poorly-suited to compete. Here's what should happen ASAP: (1) The owner stops deluding us and himself about the horrid run; announces QPR will never settle for mediocrity and malpractice, even while rebuilding the club; fires Holloway, appoints Ramsey as interim manager until a new leader can be recruited (2) Ollie stops barking at the fans and shoulders the responsibility he's born for our failures of late; (3) Nedum starts acting like a captain and says to every player you're either all in or left out; (4) We recruit a new RB or LB in the window + an attacking midfielder: the fans deserve to know the intention to do better is genuine; (5) We get rid of all the remaining driftwood at whatever cost -- Washington, Mackie, Borysiuk, et alia. We're headed to the bottom of this league without changes; now let's see who means it when they say they bleed for the Hoops.

As a public relations professional in real life, I can tell you this team (from top to bottom) has blundered its message for years. It's so simple: (1) We will do everything we can to ensure QPR returns to the Premier League, and that they're there to stay; (2) We will not tolerate mediocrity or flagging effort from anyone associated with this organization; (3) If something's not working, we won't hide it; when something's not right, we won't dismiss it; when the record is bad and the trend is as well, we won't just hope it away, we'll fix it; (4) We want every fan to know we hear you.Last edited by Qprtanpa1; 06-01-2018, 09:36 PM.
