    Of course he hasn't.
He doesn't go to the game let alone the training sessions.

Oh OK...just thought you must have been down there fairly regularly to know so definitively that it was all down to him.

Well he had a pretty good record at Hartlepool.Not. Our defence is just so, so slow.

get a decent defensive coach in.
when you have played football as long as our lot have they should know when to tackle , push up , jockey , mark , who and when to pick up at set pieces etc .... you don't need a defensive coach to show u, this is a championship team not the under 10's

Just watched the goals. We were carved apart four times. Beyond embarrassing.

Up to the manager to pick and organise the team, including the defence. Defensive coach may have an important role but very secondary to that of manager.

If that's the case why do we employ one.

Especially as the club is cost cutting.

                      If he is not need
Ed then let's get rid of him.

Don't blame the defensive coach mate.
His job is to make the tea and shout "come on boys"
                        No his problem.

Oh yeah. He was class down there. His defense leaked the most goals in all 4 divisions in the year we signed him. Ended up getting relegated out of the league.

Not his fault though, is job is to make the tea.

If Fleming makes the tea is it Birch's job to bring the cakes.

Why are we getting on the case of our defensive coach and assistant manager all of a sudden?

Not saying that I particularly rate either of them, but surely the manager picks his staff and the buck stops with him?
