  • In light of our current form..

would you settle for another away draw at Bolton? I would provided we take at least 4 points from the following 2 home games. 4 away games now we’ve led away from home to come away with a paltry 2 points.

    2 points would be encouraging.

No it’s bolton as with Sunderland we have to go with sole intention of winning. If we go there with point in mind this season will be a long old slog

Not for me either and the 1st goal up there will be crucial especially after them beating Sheffield Wednesday at the weekend. Huge game for us and one we should be looking to take 3 points from.

A strong home form and pt away from home is promotion form so of course I'd take another pt. Problem is we have wolves next so beating Bolton would take some pressure off. Wolves are a club that have spent serious money on strikers and I think it will be a lesson for us next wk
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

No way, a point will be a $hit result there.

Accepting a point up there is basically accepting that we will be in the relegation fight this season. Gotta be looking at taking 3 points from games against sides that are worse than us (and clearly they are), whether it be home or away!

such is our poor form a point is better than f all. Under Ollie I fear the latter

If he plays Mackie or Washington then he is playing for a draw.A containing side. If he plays Sylla and Wheeler then he is going for a win.A more attacking side.

Got to be looking for a win. Keep the sh*t teams at the bottom end of the table.

Would take a point if we are 1-0 down with 5 minutes to go though!

Considering we were the better side On Saturday and deserved the win, it was 2 points dropped. The same level of performance against Bolton should see us get the 3 points, and that's what I'm expecting.

Logically, you can't drop points that you never had in the first place, so a point is always better than no points. I get the point (obviously), but absolutely no results are guaranteed in football, just look at all the other results - teams with better, more expensive squads doing worse or not much better than us. I think, given our woeful strike force and lack of money spent on players, we're actually doing all right. And as Weare has pointed out, strong home form (if we can keep it up) plus a point away is decent form. I'd take a point away at Bolton. It's much better than no points.
