Its mad that pavs such a good player but obviously having a confidence problem atm, id be tempted to get two youngsters on as subs like shodipo when hes back and add abit of pressure to pav & mackie

Come on mate. Confidence problem, born out of being played out of position week in week out. Bet his confidence would come back pretty quick if he was picked in his natural position!

Dont agree one bit tarbie, theres no excuse for a player whos got the ability to all of a sudden darnt take his man on! when playing on his game hes excellent and a much better standard of player, that confidence wouldnt just disappear over night sorry

              • Leaving here so disappointed. Sunderland really are one of the worst besides I have seen in years but have had one shot and walked away with a point

We were dominant side but are toothless up top and think got ask few questions about everything. Think if we’re honest we’re still touch everywhere

Not a defensive player by any stretch mate and being asked to do a defensive job. Obvious to me!

                      • Washington offered absolutely nothing when he came on. Confidence looks completely shot. Mackie had his worst game of the season today IMO but IF it comes down to a choice between the two...then Mackie all day long.

                        • Sounds all too familiar and now questions need to be asked about how we have put this squad together before the season started.

Mackie is useless and needs to be dropped for #### sake. He runs around a lot and claps his hands towards the fans. If we need that kind of service at the game, hire a ####ing mascot.

Wszolek adds nothing in attack. Been average all year and that continued today. He kills the momentum of our attack everytime we go down that right edge.

                            #### me Sylla is the most annoying player in our squad. Every damn time someone tackles him he goes to the ground and waits for the whistle, if it doesn’t come he SLOWLY gets up and walks back into position. Mate, your dive didn’t work, don’t lay around with a pouty face, get the #### up and get back into the game.

Biggest criticism I have for the game is why, in a game where every second minute there was a corner, didn’t Olly bring on Matty Smith. You know, the guy in our team that’s like 6’5 and his best attribute are his headers. It literally baffled me that we didn’t bring him on.
I stopped reading at "worst performance of the season" because that, my friend, is complete and utter bowlarks. Controlled most of that, had more chances, the only thing we didn't do was take the ones that should've been taken. To call that a bad performance, let alone our worst of the season, is the only thing that's embarrassing. You clearly didn't watch Burton, Barnsley, Millwall or Norwich, all worse than that by some distance.

The manager has the options of choosing from young Bright, Wheeler, Lua Lua etc., but continues to pick those two that slow everything down. Had plenty of opportunity and time today to make the right changes when we were in front which would have caused them different problems. Instead he did nothing, resulting in them getting back into it from nowhere.

Overall, there's no doubt that we outplayed them for most of the match. But that's not good enough when up against such a poor side. Sorry mate, but we can all think of at least 3 games where we should have comfortably picked up 3 points but dropped at least 2. Had we not have done, we would be on 20 points and in the play off places. I appreciate that there's still a long way to go in a long season, but we are starting to lose touch which is becoming harder and harder to take each time, particularly when you look at the poor sides we have been up against.

It's getting to the point whereby there's almost no other possibility other than finising between 12th to 18th. It simply isn't good enough with the squad we have. You can't possibly be thinking that the likes of Sheffield Utd or Preston have better players to choose from than us, can you?

                              • Brighton. Sheff Utd have a very good manager who has them organised and knowing how they want to play. Alex Neil did great for Norwich when he went there but not so great after their promotion. Our game has been consistently making the same mistake and that is starting Mackie in every game.
