  • Time for Kakay?

With so many CB:s out...is it time for him now? Comfortable at RB and CB.

Been impressed with both Hamalainen and Kakay whenever they've stepped up to the first team. It's a squad game and now's there chance.

Personally I would be more comfortable with either of Kakay or Hullabalooza at the back than Caulker.

Id give the lad Philips from the states a place in the squad he's lightning quick from what I've seen. ok his touch could be better but then so could caulker who dont give f@rk re the club.

None of them being on the bench up at Boro when we had left backs playing centre half tells me Holloway doesn't fancy any of them.

Holloway doesn't develop young talent. His last match for Sky when he had accepted Rangers was at Swindon and he was banging on about getting "his boys" back. Doughty has been moved on and Furlong has gone backwards.(Manning too) Shodipo was shipped out on loan instead of being workedon, now Eze too. Probably no coincidence that no one lends us their youngsters.

He's brought through Manning and Chair, but yes - Kakay, Hamalainen, Goss, Petrasso, Shodipo and Eze haven't had a look in - even during this injury crisis. Clearly all still considered too much of a risk.

Which was another reason why his appointment was so bizarre, since the board's new master plan was that we were 'developing young talent'.

Prem clubs aren't afraid of bringing young talent into the first team but then most of them have managers who recognise that if you're good enough, you're old enough.

Look at Eddie Jones, another successful manager who has completely transformed the England squad. Latest squad includes an 18 year old.

Being a development club with Olly at the helm is a contradiction in terms.

Well Furlong has certainly not developed in the last year and gone backwards as shown by his woeful all round performance yesterday.
