  • Just back from Cardiff

Never happy losing but as defeats go that was a decent effort

Thought we played very well and caulker mistakes aside thought we matched them and could easily have left with a point. Cardiff were typical Warnock side hard working in your face and busy, they are very ropey at the back but fantastic up top. That zohore fella had Caulker in his pocket all day totally bullied him and gave him run around.

Positives were we battled whole game and created some decent chances Furlong and Bidwell done well and we looked like we had a goal in us when we went forward. Negatives Caulker he was woeful and the subs we made although attacking seemed to take momentum we had built up out the sails

Some signings just don't work and today I thought Caulker and yeni will never break in at the club

Overall decent enough game and performance which we should have come away with a point

Not so sure that we would have deserved a draw. Think they were a far better side second half and had one totally good goal disallowed.

Easily worth a point in my view mate. We had three or four decent chances second half ourselves just never got break to get shot off.

Cardiff showed the difference between an average striker up top (Washington) and a handful (zohore). As said they were crap defensively but there going remain in games because that fella is a beast and will score goals. Today confirmed we need a striker and urgently

Washington in my view is a very poor striker.

Unfortunately some people still don't get that, manager included.

If you're a striker, you main job is to convert opportunities. All the huffing and puffing doesn't change that. I want a ruthless opportunist. I don't get that from CW.

Have to agree. Tried to give him benefit of the doubt, but for all his running he produced nothing today.

Starting Caulker in any game is a disadvantage IMO. Never been a fan and want to see him gone.

Don't like him for the fact he's largely ponced a living off the club for very little return. Have every sympathy with his situation and only think he was played due to lack of options. He's clearly not match fit which in itself is a breach of contract but think he will do a Job when he gets to the level he needs to be at. Reinforcements required immediately in that position and we needed another right back before perch got crocked. Lots of work to do this week

Getting the Hush from Hoillet took some taking. He actually looked dangerous every time he had the ball like the player we thought we were getting. Another player who robbed us and lost there form only to find it again when they leave

Lost that game due to the manager .
                      Cant actually fathom it.
None of us are managers but every single person could see one of the worst defensive performances ever on Tuesday from a drunk and washed up footballer who looks twice his actual s age now.
So what does Ollie do, plays him at the league leaders away as a reward.

Not sure the reference to being drunk is needed Kev although other points are fair

Would not go as far as to blame Ollie for defeat as we played well and created enough chances to get something. That effort more often then not would have got a point but we make to many errors defending and when we do make chances don't take them

Its so clear the drink has ruined his ability to play football.

Its good to hear the truth from you westy who went, we`ve` played well all season so far and we are going to get the odd results that dont go our way same as ones that do when we werent the better side, so get some needed players in and we`ll do well, but theyll be a few on here who wont like the fact what you said its been a long time since we`ve had 5 matches and played well in all & deserved something from every one!

Was a bit confused with the starting line up. We have looked a decent side when our front three and midfield three close the ball down early and win possession higher up the field. I know Smith scored and also against Hull but he is too slow to close down defenders. Also Baptiste played quite well against Hull so surprised he did not start.
