    Does it mean we spent 1% over our income on staff?

    Looks that way.

    This is what annoys me, we are having the rulebook thrown at us for overspending in the short period where FFP was being enforced strictly.

    In reality, there are now a load of clubs offending far worse than us, who are not facing any penalty!

        it's encouraging that we're finally beginning to bring wages under control and with one or two last high earners on their way out, we're hopefully beginning to turn a corner. this just emphasises how mental the championship is becoming. i think some clubs will have big big problems a few years down the line - not everyone can get promoted.
