  • The greatest trick Les has managed to do...

    Has been to temper expectations.

I know everyone is moaning but at least the bar has been set to a more realistic expectation considering our gates and FFP.

It is actually a reset to the last 6 years and a more sensible approach to the future.

Hate him or love him, for that I congratulate him.

Yes, let's congratulate him on making us all realise how bang average we are with not a pot to #### in. Let's congratulate him on making us all believe that in fact the sky is not the limit... the ceiling is...

After all these years of being a circus and everyone taking the p*ss out of us, I quite welcome a return to the "average" Rangers.

Hopefully it will be onwards and upwards in the right way from now on.

You will be wanting a round of applause everytime he flushes the toilet next.

Got allot of time for Sir Les.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

No, more like an appreciation for a job that no one would want to do - i.e. Downgrade expectations.

Regardless of the wealth or willingness of an owner FFP limits that investment.

Sure, miss about how people have bought early bird season tickets and not getting players. Others who say they refuse to go unless players are bought.

Well that's how FFP unfortunately works, for every empty seat that investment is limited by FFP.

Criticising a member if staff for doing what is in the best interest of the club, bearing in mind the limitations imposed upon us, is quite frankly ridiculous.

Tempering expectations is one thing. Flat out under-achieiving is quite another. We came within one defeat of playing League One football this season.

We will get hammered next for having to many new coaches scouts etc as under ffp we can't afford them
