Saw the players clap em from half way and not bother walking the 50 metres as they lined up for a closer look...Birch came out and was taking pics with them though...as drumpf would say.....sad.

There were 5 of us at a pre season friendly in Celje in the middle of Slovenia a few years ago and the players just walked off at the end without a second glance which infuriated the owner of the club who came across to us and took us to his boardroom and gave us free beer food and a guided tour of the ground himself

Freeman, Cousins, Furlong, Hamalainen (all played in Leipzig, not in Berlin) came to the fans yesterday when warm up started, shook hands and posed for pictures.

By the way Union sent some security guys to the fans and (because of the trouble on saturday) offered to escort the QPR fans to the train station

there was maybe about 40-50 in total (difficult to definitively tell as union fans were in the same part of the stand)... 15-20 at the bottom of the stand, a few more a bit higher. not many, but most travelling support will have had flights booked and have been expected back at work by monday, so can't really have expected much more, not sad just unavoidable given what happened - in any case, saturday's turn out was bigger than i expected.

I meant the players not coming over at the end as the "sad" thing. Good to hear that some of the squad players posed for pics though.

That's what I like to hear, sometimes it's just the little things that can put a smile on other peoples faces.
