  • Perch-less

Nice guy, but Perch showing his age. Has lost a step, and can't compete with speedy wingers on his side. He's an adequate fill-in for the injured, but definitely not starting material. Also need to move Hall, when fit, back to CB. Thought this preseason would see us emphasize defense; believe we will be relatively easy to score against this season as is.

Hes no right back imo but could do a job as defensive midfielder but even then you'd worry how long he'd last as his tackling is shocking.

He could of had 5 or 6 straight reds last year and we are 1 team that needs everyone on the pitch at all times.

The bloke is a liability imo.

Think id go with the young lad kakay, looked really impressive in his short cameo, great speed and attacking wise as a full back, looks good to me!

That's promising to hear I don't know too much about him.

Would be interested in what others think of the boy

I'd ship Perch out unless you keep him as a backup CDM

We should never have signed him, let alone renew his contract.

But is Furlong any better? He had a few decent games last season but also some shockers.

Think they are both average and exposed too often. Furlong by his inexperience and Perch by his lack of pace.

In Furlong's defence he can only get better with games. Perch is only going to get worse.

I'd have Furlong every day of the week over Lurch, sorry Perch.

furlong is worse constantly found in no mans land when he should be defending

Furlong needs to play alongside a commanding, experienced CB to help him read the game.
