Doesn't run around much, doesn't talk English too good and wears gloves.....under ollie's view on what makes a good player, he'll be off before new season starts. Goal scoring record is irrelevant.

      Irrelevant or irrelevant to Ollie

The problem is that we have this toxic combination of an average squad of players, an extremely poor manager and fans with extremely high expectations. And I don't blame the fans, I blame the board for inflated expectations. But the fact is, the minute we start to struggle, the fans get on the teams back and it's counterproductive. Whereas you could give the same group of players to Burton, Preston or Millwall, and they'd get a bit more patience because expectations are lower.
Were Burton, Preton or Millwall recently in the PL with pots of cash that comes with it and the 5th highest wagebill in Europe?

Of course expectations are high, the players are paid far above their ability.

Silly season again. The jury is still very much out on him. Personally would have Washington up top with Smith. Sylla needs to bully more as he isn't aggressive enough for my liking.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Let's be honest, none of us know what's going on transfer wise and it will be the usual last day of August with the sky sports news circus and the embarrassing Jim white trying to hype it up as the cameras go to Stoke who get someone's third choice striker on loan.
Personally I'd keep sylla and give him a run of games, he looks our most dangerous striker and although that's the state of us I think it's a fact, at Craven cottage last season he run them ragged and had 3 good chances scoring one, would have to look at the stats but has he had a good run in the team?
