Chester Bennington, lead singer of rock band Linkin Park, has died aged 41. Committed suicide.
Not sure how many of you even liked Linkin Park, but I grew up listening to them. Saw them 4 times live, loved their music since I was an 11 year old. Gutted by this.
    RIP.

Just read it myself online, really sad, especially as he leaves six children behind.
Not familiar with all their music but loved shadow of the day.

Not a fan of the music, but it's a really sad story.

The guys a millionaire with a wife and 6 kids who love him. Just goes to show that nobody is immune to depression and other mental illness.

Exactly mate. So many are quick to say, "well he's a rockstar and a millionaire, what's he got to be depressed about", which shows how woefully ignorant these people are about mental illness and depression. Too many are dying because of It, because people don't seem to understand it.

Wasn't a massive fan of linkin park but loved their tune "crawling".

Sad state of affairs if a guy can top himself and leave his children behind.

                  RIP
