  • 4 weeks today

The real football starts, I for one cannot wait, despite the moaning (some by me) I still get the buzz from a new season, will feel nervous the night before, can't wait to come out the tube at sheperds bush and walk along by the green, stop at the green for a pint of peroni and then take it from there, despite everything I just love opening day.

it will be the 1st opening day that I will avoid for many years. Normally a sell out but I will predict 15,000 at best. Too much of same old same old. I was expecting a real reshuffle but that doesn't look to be the case
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I look forward to the new season and if we manage to get in a few reinforcements I think we can do well. Cousins needs a chance in a settled team, imo. Last chance saloon for Nedum.

i agree with you old boy, except the part about expecting a reshuffle.

nothing will change with this management team. it will be just like last season. mark my words.

In patches he is ok but nothing more. He impressed in the match where we secured our place.

I'm kind of pinning my hopes on Cousins showing us what he's made of. If he gets fit and sharp we could have a player on our hands

Last chance for what? Has earned a fantastic living as an average footballer. Think like many moving from a club like Man City to us meant the end of any ambition to be a "top top" (thanks arry) footballer. Still always one of our more reliable players.
