Do you think insurance kicked in when diakite who was more of a genuine case had problems, no of course not! No company would touch footballers on ridiculous money its just common sense
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Clubs do have Insurance policies for injuries so your initial response was needlessly patronising.

Sadly you can insure against most things but it costs you
I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

Thanks mate. Croydon always had a problem with me so we're best to avoid each other

I work in insurance - yay for me :(

although i have had limited dealings regarding sports clubs etc my very basic understanding of it is that if you have a physical injury you can claim. Now, having alcoholism or gambling addiction i would suggest wouldn't be covered, but if claimed under a mental illness as proximate cause that might be a different story.

AGAIN, not saying that's what he's doing

Les Ferdinand says QPR have given Steven Caulker as much support as possible.

It appears to be a mental problem as he attempted suicide.

"We are just waiting for Steven to come back and say he’s ready to play football"

As harsh as it may sound, I just hope that sentence is followed by "for someone else"
