I think most will be happy to give him a chance, but signing a Barnsley castoff does speak a lot for where we're currently at and who we're able to attract here.

Gotta hope the majority of however many gambles we take on freebies/cheap signings this summer pay off, otherwise we could be in for a long season.

I would hold on to mass personally but fact he plays for Oz is an Achilles heal for us. As an example we report back tomorrow for pre season but he's not actually had a break since the end of last season as he's playing confeds cup

So he will get break end of that miss pre season with us be behind rest of squad and probably shot by November

No his contract has run out. The Barnsley fans seem to be gutted about losing him and considering they were head and shoulders above us I see it as quite a decent signing. Midfielder with a 1 in 10 goal ratio( remind us how many mass has scored btw). Good signing if we pull it off but this is rangers, of there's something to moan about....

Mass Schmass I'd definitely take a decent offer I don't get punters saying keep him , is he a good player he really could be !! But is he a good player for us not really is it his fault I don't know but would accept he may be played in the wrong position , maybe he needs a midfielder schemer prompting him to get forward one that would keep him busy that would keep him on the ball , the trouble is for us he is the midfield schemer and that one position you don't want a player that goes missing during games if we persist in playing there we are not giving him the chance to have a great influence on games Regualy therefore it may well be better to let him go for all parties
