  • Jordan Rhodes Pen Refusal

Some people wanted to pump big money on him in January but geezer bottled taking a pen yestetday.

Imagine our Charlie saying did not fancy pen against Wigan in play off!!!! Charlie had the ball on spot as soon as ref gave it. Give me one Charlie Austin over ten Rhodes

Couldn't believe he bottled it West. 10 million quid spent on a striker who didn't have the bottle to take a penalty in a play off game. What a joke!

Maids I had rewind Sky to listen again I thought no chance. How can a striker and regular pen taker refuse taking one. As said compare that to Austin

I saw he hadn't taken one. How do we know he refused? Did they say that?
            That is shocking.

Always thought he was one of the most over rated players around.

Never in a million years is he a PL player, so not at all surprised that even relegation certainties Boro felt he wasn't good enough.

                  Didn't feel confident my @rse.

What if he had missed it? IMO, I think if was fair enough to that say he was not psycologically up for it.

Poor showing. Bloke is a goalscorer yet decides to let down his teammate's and fans
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

So you think it's better for the centre forward to put added pressure on a defender perhaps, simply because he's got no bottle?

Bit like saying it's OK for Conor Washington to wimp out and expect Darnell Furlong to take one instead.

                            Not ok, is it?

If you're the first choice centre forward, you step up and take the bloody kick!

First choice? Didn`t he come off from the bench in the second half.
