  • JFH

Several fans on here think we would never have been in danger of relegation with JFH. We started the season top of the division (I know this was only for a couple of games) and when he left we were 17th, 6 points of the relegation zone and had spent most of the season going slowly downwards. This was early in the season but who can say that had he stayed we would not have been in danger of relegation.

He was a boring K ant in personality and his football philosophy and was rightly dismissed but perhaps he was not as big a k ant as we all thought. Paid a manager off gave another one three year contract and we have not progressed so more wasted money

We could be in Blackburn's position or Reading's....it's irrelevant.

Notwithstanding Ollie's wretched ineptitude, Jimmy was the biggest K ant I've seen in forty years of following Rangers....

JFH was pony. Don't know if we would be worse off position wise than we are now, but we certainly wouldn't of been in the top 10.

          Bloke was rubbish.

            Record this season:

JFH: 20 points from 16 games, 1.25 ppg
IH: 30 points from 28 games, 1.07 ppg

As a crude measure, applying this to the 44 games played.

JFH 55 points, 16th (and safe)
IH 45 points, 22nd (and in the relegation zone)

A lot of JFHs points were at the beginning of the season.

I think stevie wonder and even the most ardent jfh hater can see that we would of finshed much higher in the table if jfh wasnt sacked and swapped for holloway.

Couldn't stand jfh and his drossball. I'd still prefer Ollie over jfh if I had to choose right now between them.

He was a cheap appointment as is Ollie. This budget cutting exercise throughout the club is setting us back years and unless we get slightly more ambitious times will probably continue to be pretty tough.

I dont think you could or would say that if blackburn and Birmingham win their last two games and we lose ours.

I am sorry but this is all getting a bit silly.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I don't think we are going down tbf kev. If Blackburn had nicked a win yesterday then I would of been more worried.

Either way I think jfh would of had us in a similar position tbh and out of the two managers and going back to our good run under Ollie is much prefer him over jfh.

However if I'm being honest I'd love the club to invest properly in experienced manager in the form of a Pearson type. Tbh I'd take McClaren in heartbeat right now.
