  • Danny Murphy

Just said on TS that he was very close to following Mark Hughes to sign for us and really fancied it but we only offered one year and he wanted two.

Proper pro with right attitude could have seen that being a very clever and smart signing if it had happened more sensible and cost effective then some of the c rap we brought in

Really like danny and like you said, a real good lad with the right attitude and a brain. He didn't really pull up any trees at Fulham and I don't think he was at the level to really shine. Relied on getting box to box but legs had gone but good back in the day, agree
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

            Aunt/uncle scenario.
"The kids missed everything from Queens Park Rangers to Conkers".

London Pride has been handed down to us.
London Pride is a flower that's free.
London Pride means our own dear town to us,
And our pride it for ever will be.

Like Danny Murphy, speaks an awful lot of sense when I have listened to him on talksport.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Agreed always says it as it is, doesn't skirt around the edges, even when its about his ex-teams.

Would make a good manager imo if he goes into it.

Would rather have seen Murphy turn up than Ji Sung Park.

Agree with the majority he says it like it is, a very good pundit.

With a lot of ex pros I switch over when they talk as it's usually all cliches and nonsense

Indeed. Rarely stops anyone on here though. If only we'd signed.... [insert name here]

Agreed Danny Murphy would make a good manager, I wanted him here when we were touting managers before St Ian of Holloway arrived on his white horse AKA Marc Bircham.

Danny Murphy may talk a good game but so does Gary Neville and look at his first managerial job.

Personally think you need to cut your teeth in the lower leagues before even being considered for a managerial job in the Championship let alone anything higher.
