  • QPR/Cardiff rivalry.

"Cardiff City supporters are often left confused by the level of dislike shown towards them from QPR fans".....

im 1 where rivalry between the 2 clubs confuses me. never known any hatred towards qpr from a cardiff end.
theres allways the wales v england rivalry which is natural.
but as a club iv allways had a soft spot for qpr as it was my 1st ever away trip with cardiff in the fa cup replay in the 90s and i like the old school grounds.
cant wish you luck this weekend but looking forward to my yearly trip to loftus road on the weekend

Two clubs with a bit of buzz back in them, similar management styles and so they say, similar playing styles. Should at least be entertaining.

Never known or had a reason to dislike Cardiff. 1 less now woth Neil at the helm, someone who will forever be a club great for what he achieved here.

I hope you get a good reception, good day out, and lose 3-1. You get a consolation goal because of Warnock.

I don't personally dislike Cardiff and didn't realise anyone did. Can't stand a few clubs fans especially Reading but most I've never had an issue.

Only reason I dislike Cardiff is because of the play off final. As a 12 year old at the time (and had a season ticket for 10 years already by that point) it was heart breaking.

Probably should be more annoyed at Tommy Williams for not cutting the ball back to Furlong though...
My old man never said be a Chelsea fan...

Did we smash their faces in outside Wembley?

                    Course. Badly.

I still hate Norwich every single day and thats from one game forty years ago

But Cardiff were absolutely complete dicks after our play off final, thats the real hate for them.

Goes way back before the play off final, the Friday night game when buck tooth Earnshaw scored a hatrick went to a new level.

They deserve it for the dirty tricks they played before the play-off final. However, I am truly grateful since I was working in Sydney at the time so now way could I make the game, but I was back next year for Hillsborough!

If you was drinking in the Uxbridge road that evening you'd know exactly what it means, the same goes for a FA cup game at Ninian park in the 90's where 100's of the F**kers waited outside to attack QPR fans returning to cars/coaches, we had an escort to the train station where police were drafted from Swansea's cup game with Liverpool to assist, it didn't stop one of their lot trying to attack the escort carrying a sword!!!

I stand corrected. Dont remember that though, but that dont mean anything, i dont remember my kids names.
Never ever done the coaches, always made my own way and im sure i had some blinding nights out in Cardiff after games there.
                              Might of been Swansea though.
