No chance. He has been injured for most of his current 2 year deal.

[QUOTE=Hove Ranger;1614342]I do Brian. He's hardly going to be swamped with offers and he likes to profess his love for the club fairly regularly. Plus with his injuries 2 years may be risky

      Exactly.
A 1 year deal with an option to extend would be a good deal for him. If he or his agent think they could do better elsewhere, go ahead.

Yes, but will there be any end product?

When Ollie went on his long losing run, it was bringing Mackie back that dragged the team out of it. Just the sort of player you want for that sort of situation - just give it all and never give up regardless of how the team are playing. Final goal against Liverpool 4-3 a few seasons back after we'd clawed our way back to 3-3 was all Mackie - most of the ground was wondering if we could hold on to 3-3, but not Mackie.

Don't think he'll have a choice probably get a year extension, (Which is about correct)no sell on value? doubt whether there'll be loads of teams queuing up to by or sign him
