  • Team vs Preston

Early thread, but we aren't going to be able to face up the same starting 11 again, surely?

Hall took a knock last night, and Conor has a calf strain according to Ollie.

Can see afew others in the 11 maybe needing a rest too? Who was looking tired last night?

Essentially we keep the Manning and Freeman CM pairing alongside either Hall or Perch or Lua Lua out left in 442.

Assuming Hall & Washington are out, I would go with:

      Smithies
      Furlong Nedum Lynch Bidwell
      Pav Manning Freeman Lualua
      Smith Sylla

I thought Lualua was brilliant when he came on yesterday, beat his man with ease so many times.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Could potentially bring Mass in for Hall, and put Freeman out on the left? I guess we could replace Washington with either Mackie or Yeni if he's injured, but hopefully it's nothing serious.

On a side note, I worried when Hall came off as I thought Manning/Freeman wouldn't be able to handle it together, but they were blinding! For 2 little guys they love to get a boot in!

Yeah i was surprised as hell too, they're both proper scrapers in the middle of the pitch. Would even play them again together against preston, dont think either of them played particularly great last night but defo saw potential there!!

            I would go with Luongo.

If only to wind 77 up

You'd be responsible for us losing then, Jack

I would start with Lua Lua and Yeni for Hall and Washington (if both injured). Smith and Syla up top does not strike me as a partnership that will work.

                  Only jesting mate.
I would stick with the two terriers Freeman and Manning.

I'd run with that, but i'd suggest be prepared to sub Manning.

Also see what Spongey is saying about Smith/Sylla together, be great if Morrison was up and going to stick him up there just off Smith or Sylla.

Maybe a chance for Goss or Ravel to make an appearance?

Have a feeling Ollie might throw Luongo back in though

                          Racing certainty unfortunately.
