It would not have flattered us if we got 6 or 7. Very dominant display and fair play to Holloway for playing people in positions where they affected the game in a positive way. Cannot see Luongo getting back in the side as Freeman had a very good game and was always trying to be positive. Great day all round.

Wigan. Don't change a winning team. No daft formations. No stupid substitutions. Above all...no Luongo. In Freeman and Manning with Hall stepping forward when we had the ball we had pace, movement, creativity and a trick - all the things we've been crying out for all season. Ok, let's keep it in perspective, this was a lousy Brum side but we were so much better in every way than we have been. Ned knockers? You should have been here. Hall back to form. Lynch and Smithies solid as ever. Furlong and even Bidwell looked a bit like wing backs. Wszolek still runs out of steam but his cross for Sylla was brilliant. Washington's Duracells go on and on..... Smith should have buried two more and Washington put a header wide close in so could easily have been more emphatic. But it was the midfield that made a massive difference. We actually had one. Play half as good as this and we should take Wigan. You got it right big time today Holloway so please leave well alone.

Great to stick it up the Chelsea can't and fantastic support from those who went.

Delighted to see Yeni get on the scoresheet, Holloway seems to like him as although he rarely starts he gets thrown on ahead of others quite a lot of the time. This goal could be just what he needs to kick start his career with us.

As with a lot of the younger lads, a good pre season and he could be a real player for us next season.

Wigan is a real chance to distance ourselves from the relegation zone now, kind of wish it was away though lol

Definitely a result deserved for us fans as much as anything and especially the travelling faithful!

We have been playing some decent football for a while under Ollie and just not taken our chances so great to see all our strikers score and put 4 pass a poor Brum side!

If we learn to be more ruthless in front of goal we have a team capable of sitting in the top 10. 1 or 2 tweaks in the summer and I personally think we will have a shot at top 6 next year.

Gotta admit about ned too, hes a changed man under ollie too. A few weeks ago he was useless and not worth a place on the bench for me but hes massively improved. Hes no where near as nervous on the ball and actually plays well ... hes more like not-quite-so-nervous ned now

Best thing about the subs was that they were just like for like fresh legs, not messing with a formation that was working.
