  • The Ideal Post-January Window Team...

Transfer windows are always fascinating; full of hope and hype that helps make even the most ordinary season (like QPR's) totally cool. IMHO, here's a very good outcome that promises to elevate our game (and our position in the standings):

Manager -- Ollie -- start here; he's a Godsend given his attitude, spirit and honesty
    Best Starting Lineup:
    Goal -- Smithies (freaking great)
CB -- Hall (his natural position vs DM)
CB -- Lynch (better each game)
RB -- Furlong (needs more first team work)
    LB -- Bidwell (solid)
DM -- Manning (kid's gonna be great)
LW -- LuaLua (speed and danger)
CM -- Ravel (still one of England's most gifted)
CM -- Goss (possibly key to our future) or Mackie (blood and guts)
RW -- Wszolek (teamed with LuaLua an exciting duo) or Freeman
CF -- Sylla (in a set system his head and setups massively important)

    SUBS:
    Lumley
    Luongo
    Mackie
    Freeman
    Conor
    Perch
    Cousins/Doughty

My bad, mate. Given Hall likely out for a spell Ned is perfect replacement, and certainly worthy of a few RB starts as well.

High expectations of Goss who has little league experience. Recent young midfielders with reputations from big clubs have failed here (LTC/ Parejo). Flourished when they left.

Don't think he'll start at Newcastle, be on the bench.

Think he will be in for Hall.

I have never seen Goss play, so don't know what to expect from him. When we signed Prohouly I thought that he would be in the first team within a year, and this hasn't yet happened, so want to wait with Goss and let him find his feet. Am genuinely excited by Eze and so hope that he will play a key role going forward.
