Got 10 goals so far this season, 25 and knows the league. If we got 3 mill for Polter (which I'm struggling to believe) and get this guy for just over 1 mill then thats a shrewd replacement

Hope he's more of a winger than striker with that goal ratio, scored 16 goals in 117 league appearances for Huddersfield. I confess to not knowing much about him other than he's chipped in with a few goals in a struggling Rotherham side this season.

Well he's scored double figures in the Championship for starters...

I think he's another Mackie type player that works tirelessly. Been playing upfront in his own for Rotherham this season so to get double figures is pretty impressive. Couldn't see Washington doing that for them

We're getting linked with a lot of support strikers. I would have thought the squad is way more in need of another number 9 having sold Polter!

Average, no improvement on what we've got but as someone said, he's very much in the mould of Mackie in terms of work rate. Impressed me when he burst on the scene with Huddersfield in League One years ago but disappeared off the radar for a few seasons when he had a good season for Huddersfield in the Championship but then he's disappeared again for another few years until this season. Another risky signing based on a good 4 month spell.

I'd rather spend the money on Gregory or Taylor, who are out and out strikers and natural goalscorers.

Christ, just seen his record on wiki.
                      Huddersfield. 2011-2015 - played 117. Scored 16
                      Rotherham. 2015-present day played - played 72 scored 16.

Stay clear imho. Get a striker whos got a record of scoring goals.
                      SIR LESLIE FERDINAND!!

Hes transitioned to more of a striker role this season though so i wouldn't pay attention to his past stats.
Loads of players started out as wingers before transitioning to being a striker.

I'd still rather have gregory or taylor who'd cost around the same and would be a success imo.

That or we could bring in a couple more number 10s

Lambert's already on loan at Cardiff.

Wouldn't say no to gregory or taylor
