Yeah but didn't you realise that Evil Les brainwashed JFH into getting him so it must be his fault all along....

Well either that or Les is backing the manager like he backed the previous one....

Nasser always seemed an odd signing

I still rate Massimo and think he has a lot of potential. Overall Les had a Monmouth task on his hands. He had to rid of a dozen or so top end earners while his remit was to replace them with players with potential and to make a profit. We are only 18 months into his work.

              Polter apparently doubling our outlay.
Sandro is almost the final big earner gone
              Chery doubled out lay.
Hall free transfer but easily worth 5m
              Smithies going well.

Let's remember that when we had Harry in the prem and Les took over, over 60/70% of active posters on here were happy to strip the club back to basics and have ' a couple of years of mid table rebuilding'

Short, tunnel visioned minds some people
I love this board when malapropisms abound! (Was it predictive text?)

Good post though, and Buffalo makes a good point about Les backing his manager.

I think if we were guaranteed a mid table place most of us would be content. It's the yawning chasm of relegation into Division 1 that's got us all panting it. Being relegated would be an absolute disaster for the club.
