He is basically the CEO of the club
In charge of the day to day running of the club
Close to Ferdinand though Les not going anywhere chaps.
Hoos is now the gaffer chaps

How the hell does that work?
In a nutshell - I take it to mean that if Ollie and Les identify a player that's needed then Hoos has final authority to sign it off based on the budgetary restrictions imposed by the board.

Yes Stan I think you are correct

He can sign off deals whilst the owners are abroad as long as he informs them

Probably as the owners are out of the country whist the transfer window is open

This is why this has been implemented

TF and Ruben taking a back seat. Assumedly they provide a kitty and Les and Ollie get players subject to Hoos' agreement. Could weaken Les if Hoos wants to

Possibly we missed on some transfers last window due to the owners being away.

It sounds to me that QPR have finally done what many other clubs do and appoint a CEO who can actually deal with running a football club, such as the likes of David Dein, David Bernstein etc.

Shame though that they have kept Ferdinand on, as Ollie is more than capable of identifying his own targets. Ferdinand has shown that he can identify
                      Plenty of duds.

Slowly but surely the club is starting to be run very well. Its taken forever but they are getting it so right now.
