  • Chery

Has his transfer to China been concluded? Early this month it seems that Chery was on the way to China and was even shown in pictures signing, however, no official news so far from the club.

    • Very strange. In interviews Holloway was talking as if he had already gone but nothing official.

      • Similar situation with Sandro and Polter, both very drawn out before being officially confirmed. Probably even longer in this case being as it's China, where it's notoriously difficult to get money out of.

        • Seems very quiet on the offish on Chery, are we still waiting for the rinkydink money to buy the players we want ?

          • There is always the possibility he may stay. If that happens, Olly is going to have to get him into gear somehow. Can't afford not to.

He's been totally inconsistent (I would take Ravel if offered a choice) but no amount of running around makes up for a bit of vision, that little bit of class we desperately need.

Was he not pictured in China with the club who were welcoming him as a new player? Would assume it's international paperwork that's holding it up. Can't see any way back for him

Pretty sure Olly said he was off in a recent interview. Agree with others that it is paperwork holding it up.

                          • £4m for him is a massive coup
"Imagine a relationship that went wrong but you held on in there for years: that's what it is like supporting a football team. Your loyalty to a team can never die. Ties are stronger than they could ever be with a woman. If she goes and sleeps with your best mate, it's over. If the Rs' boss, Ian Holloway, slept with my best mate, QPR would still be my team. Even if many of the things that you loved about going to matches have gone - terraces, team shirts without sponsors and being able to smoke at grounds - you still stick with your team." - Peter Doherty.

                              • Good. We're a miles better team without him. He slows things up so much.
