  • A Makeshift Squad v Wolves...

With the latest news that Luongo, Caulker, Cousins, Chery, Lynch, Polter and Nedum (thru red card) may miss the Wolves match, it's time to try for youth/speed backed by a seasoned defender/goalie. To wit:

    Smithies (thank God)
Perch (out of necessity -- his Brighton performance very poor)
    Hall (the rock)
    Bidwell (decent last game)
    Kakay (assuming Robinson not available)
Borysiuk (needed last game for match fitness)
    Sandro (the seasoned vet)
    Shodipo (speed)
    Ngbokota (speed)
    Washington (speed/hustle)
Sylla (the only real goal scorer on team now)

    Subs:
    Mackie (first off the bench)
    Wszolek (promising talent)
    Henry (late game defender)
    Khayati (by default)
    Gladwin (also by default)
    Robinson/Kakay (whoever doesn't start)
    Ingram

    Perch-------Hall---------Lynch-------Bidwell

    Chery------Cousins------Luongo-----Washington

After losing 6 in a row and given injuries, I'd rather we were a. It more defensive away from home. I mean it's not as if luongo and cousins are creating any chances?? Think Ariel and Sandro should be in center mid

Five of those are injured or face late fitness test

What a horrible squad put together by our beloved DoF.... We'd all better pray that Sylla turns out to be our new Charlie boy and fast. That squad has got relegation written all over it.

we are going there to get beat imo and I'm plssed off with posters telling me Luongo Chery Perch and the invisible poles are good players therefore if there's the slightest hint of any interest from clubs to any of our players leave them out and give Doughty and co a crack at it as I said well get beat anyhow

Still laughing at luongo and cousins lining up as our 2 man midfield away from home. Don't give a stuff what stats say, those 2 are lightweight and you can't afford to have your 2 man midfielders drifting in and out of games.

Good point sadly sandro with aint bothered or cant be bothered to get fit for 90 mins otherwise at least he can put his foot in, loungo would win a 99-1% ball in his favour cousins is pony end off. its ok to have a player drift in and off off games but we got of them that do it only smithies seems to be able to stick at it. even hall this year has been dire at times.

my gut feeling is today we might get a pasting again by 3-4 if thats the case something has gotta give

People are saying we need a physical presence in the midfield so we should get impey out of retirement and shift him to the mid. Nothing would get past his huge frame no chance and we'd easily nick a draw
