  • What we doing wrong?

    Managers under TF-
    Warnock
    Hughes
    Redknapp
    Ramsey
    JFH
    Ollie

*We've given them money to spend
*We've not given them as much to spend
*We've even tried helping them out (dof)
*We've had evey type (experienced/up and coming/with connection to club)

    What we doing SO wrong?
    SIR LESLIE FERDINAND!!

No structure from August 2011 has cost us and the wreckless spending that followed is killing the club to this day. How could Armand Traore be paid more than Charlie Austin?

What we've done wrong in order of them happening:

1.) Appointing Phil Beard. TF has no idea about football, selecting a right hand man that also has no idea about football was ridiculous.
2.) Waving our money around. We were a football agents wet dream for 3 seasons because they knew we had lots of money, loose purse strings and idiots in charge.
3.) Spent too much, too soon predominantly on players that offered very little return on investment. We should have invested in infrastructure first (ground, training facilities, coaching staff etc.). We did everything entirely the wrong way round.
4.) The wrong men in the key positions. From coaching staff up to board level there have been very few people in the positions of influence who were selected for the right reasons. Have a look at the club now, Ramsey, Ferdinand, Ollie & Bircham all on the payroll (and don't get me started on Sinton and all the other hangers-on), and we still can't win a game. Amount they are all being paid between them we could actually select a decent manager to run things.

For me, the crux of the problem is Tony Fernandes. The reason he surrounds himself with all these people is that he knows he can't trust his own decision making when it comes to football matters and he needs them to protect himself from being taken for a ride again!

Agree Tarbie and think Ferdinand is turning Fernandes over just like Kia Jorabchin did in 2012-2013 just in a less obvious way.

Maybe because he is injury prone. He played a few games for Southampton and was doing well then he injured his shoulder in the same way he did at QPR in Jan 2014 and is out for 4 months.

Injury prone? How many games did the legend that is Traore play in 4 seasons? Can't remember him being fit for selection very often.
