For me there lies part of the problem. It's a total mishmash of players going back five managers soon to be six once Olly brings in what he wants

Henry Sandro from Redknapp

There is no philosophy in type of players we bring in it's a total scatter gun approach. What do we stand for as a club what is our style??? We bring in load of wide players this season then don't use them as the strategy is to build team round Chery!!!! Why bring them in??

If we're going improve long term we need to establish a philosophy stick with it and bring in players and future managers that buy into it. If the DOF role is to be a success that's how it should work.
