So i'm on the train atm and being bored got me thinking ... what is my all time qpr 11?
This is what i came up with, using players that i've actually seen during my 13 years of support.

Gk - smithies
Lb - clint hill
Cb - richard dunne
Cb - danny shittu
Rb -
Lm - lee cook
Cm - adel taarabt
Cm - ali faurlin
Rm - jamie mackie
St - charlie austin
St - heidur helgusson

Not really a spectacular squad and i couldn't think of a stand out right back. Moved clint to lb to make room for dunne and chose ali over derry and rowlands! I guess older fans will easily be able to pick a team out whereas i struggled a bit haha

Completely forgot about ainsworth so yep he'd be my RM pick. Bignot is a good shout at rb too, did think of kyle but thought it'd make us look bad if the best rb we've had in the past 15 years was a guy who played a handful of games for us

Do you think that austin or even givens were better for us than ferdinand? I've only ever seen highlights of les and read about givens so cant judge

Stan and Rodders up top, Dave Thomas switching flanks, Adel in the pocket. That unit would do some damage,pace and creativity. People forget how good Rodders was in the air, arguably Stan's weak spot. You have to pick Gerry Francis for his dynamic, he'd clear the table for AT. Kyle Walker is another who goes straight in mine. When you really think about it, quality picks itself. Happy Christmas boys, things can only get better.......

at the same time i'm lucky too, i never got to see the golden era of qpr so i've only ever experienced the bad times so i never witnessed our decline

Very good side an we are the same era. Think I'd have to find a place for Gary waddock, maybe instead of barker, Holloway would also be close with all that attacking quality
