  • Going for an experienced striker

Just read the piece on WLS about us going for an experienced striker in January. Have to say there's not a lot out there. Could this be the one transfer window where the rumours about Peter Crouch turn out to be true? I'd have him until the end of the season for sure
i supported qpr in the glory days when chris kiwomya and michael ngonge played up front

Sunderland bound for big dough to team up with his old sparring partner (if you ever believe the press.)

What about Sam Winnall from Barnsley? Contract runs out in the summer same as Hourihane. Could get them cut price

Billy Sharp or Glen Murray would be blinding.

Glen Murray is on loan to the team 2nd in the league and is 2nd in the scoring charts. Can't see it myself

David Nugent would be a good signing for us!

6 years ago maybe. Can he still do it?

Would absolutely take Nugent, but no doubt teams like Reading/Leeds would be more on his radar.

I think he'd do a ok job if we signed him! Won't set the world on fire but would be enough to help us stay up maybe!

Problem is the likes of Shef Wed are linked with him so can't see us being first choice for him anyway!
