  • Ollie's thoughts on some of our players

Bit worried about his comments regarding Gladwin and El Khayati........

But I suppose it's a clean slate now isn't it?

      This.

I do think elk has a part to play, just not in the starting 11. Hes pretty selfish and likes to take shots anytime he can which makes him a perfect super sub imo.

I'm still unsure on gladwin, for one i don't even know what position he should play coz hes been played in near enough every position for us but he could turn out to be a solid player for us ... maybe ...

Don't want Polter catching pigeons on the training pitch want him putting the ball in the net on matchdays.

Will say in gladwins defence that our decent run coincided with him being in the team.

Gladwin looks like a confidence player and at the moment he has none so not showing his true ability.

Ollie doing all the right things and building their confidence. El Kayati might get a couple of run out on the left hand side if we go 4 4 2. Not a bad idea if we Sylla up top!

Would of loved to hear what he said about Washington!

I've given my thoughts on him in the past. I'm not confident Ollie will be able to change that either. But like I said, clean slate.

                            On Chery

I didn’t realise before looking at the running stats that he’s got a great engine – he really does keep going.
He always gets the most touches on the ball in every match and I've seen people say he's invisible. The work this guy does for the team is phenomenal and I hope it gets recognition like Ollie's giving him.
"What stats allow you to do is not take things at face value. The idea that I trust my eyes more than the stats, I just don't buy that because I've seen magicians pull rabbits out of hats and I know I just know that rabbit's not in there." - Billy Beane
